چکیده
In this study, the adsorption of tetracycline (TC) onto polymeric microbeads was investigated. For purpose, suspension polymerization used to synthesize poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) [poly(HEMA)] microbeads. Cibacron Blue F3GA (CB) covalently attached poly(HEMA) and were tested as an adsorbent for subsequent TC adsorption. The effects various parameters, such pH value, initial concentration, temperature, contact time, maximum capacity (Q) found be 9.63 mg g-1 at 7.0. results showed that process fast occurred spontaneously within first 5 minute. fitted Freundlich isotherm model. thermodynamic parameters adsorption, enthalpy (∆H°) entropy (∆S°), calculated 69.26 kJ mol-1 0.290 K-1, respectively. Gibbs free energy (∆G°) also in range -11.069 -17.159 with increase temperature from 277 K 298 indicating spontaneous endothermic. revealed could effectively aqueous solution.

The response times of pressure-sensitive particles to passing shockwaves were measured to investigate their ability to accurately determine pressure changes in unsteady flows. The particles tested were loaded with novel pressure-sensitive dyes such as Pt (II) meso-tetra(pentafluorophenyl)porphine, Pt(II) octaethylporphine, bis(3,5-difluoro-2-(2-pyridyl)phenyl-(2-carboxypyridyl))iridium III, and...
متن کاملNovel hollow α-Fe2O3 nanofibers via electrospinning for dye adsorption
Nanomaterials such as iron oxides and ferrites have been intensively investigated for water treatment and environmental remediation applications. In this work, hollow α-Fe2O3 nanofibers made of rice-like nanorods were successfully synthesized via a simple hydrothermal reaction on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofiber template followed by calcination. The crystallographic structure and the morpholog...
متن کاملTetracycline-loaded biomimetic apatite: an adsorption study.
Biomimetic apatites are appealing compounds for the elaboration of bioactive bone-repair scaffolds due to their intrinsic similarity to bone mineral. Bone surgeries are however often heavy procedures, and the infiltration of pathogens may not be totally avoided. To prevent their development, systemic antibiotic prophylaxis is widespread but does not specifically target surgical sites and involv...
متن کاملRemoval of Dye by Adsorption: A Review
Dye removal from industrial wastewater is an important environmental concern. So far, various physical and chemical treatment methods have been reviewed for the removal of dyes such as biological degradation, ion exchange, chemical precipitation, reverse osmosis, coagulation, flocculation, etc. However, these treatment processes have their limitations such as high cost, generation of toxic slud...
متن کاملAdsorption Study – Dye Removal Using Clay
The adsorption of textile dyes by clay was investigated using basic dye (Methylene Blue). Adsorption of dye effluent onto clay samples was carried by batch studies at room temperature, 25oC. The effects of adding clay with zeolite, pH and shaking time towards adsorption performance were investigated. The results from the mixture of 1.0 g clay and 0.01 g zeolite, the increases of pH, pH 9 and th...
